[QuirksBlog] You should've been @media - part 1: Add this error to the deplorable lack of coffee in London and yet more oceans of beer at the ungodly hour of 1pm, and you'll understand why I was rather vague in the head on Saturday afternoon, when I found myself the chairman of the promised JavaScript get-together that turned out to have about twenty five participants and discussed quite different things than I originally intended. [E.kth.se] Strang's Blog: Domestic news Archives: The fact that the phrase Eurabia has been used by an otherwise highly biased and even islamophobic site called Dhimmi Watch, where a couple of Swedish news articles were translated to fit the needs of the translator not to inform the reader on the true contents, gives this whole report a bad taste in my mouth - and many other Swedes that live in this country and don't see the problems as grave as those that are taken out of context by Harrigan. The false translations where highlighted by a Swedish Blog called Blind Höna earlier this year to show how easy it is to deceive readers that don't speak the native language of translated articles and easily takes the translations for truths.
