Cat walk movie project
[Archived in Entry]
[Schleifstein.net - digital media art blog] This Flash movie was created for a Digital Media project as part of one of my art classes at UNO. First I used a miniDV camcorder to record the scene. Then I imported the video to Premiere. Next I exported the video to frames and used a Photoshop batch process to edit every frame and optimize them. After that I imported the frames to a Flash movie and preformed an opmtimize bitmap function on each individual frame. I added the play/pause functionality and published the movie. The work originally was part of a larger project relating the idea making process to the artist. The project had a navagation based on my face and the movie would appear with a mirrored verision in the lenses of my glasses. I will post another part of this project later. The work was created during the Spring semester 2002. Click through to see a larger version of the work. [Rohdesign Weblog] My Unusual Work Life: Moving from mainly a print orientation to web orientation I was forced me to adapt to new things, such as hand-coded HTML and CSS in a text editor, building web graphics with Macromedia Fireworks and Photoshop and learning how to hack my way around PHP code. Great thing is, I've not lost my love for corporate identity or print work, and I continue to do both.

[This Rocketship Will Crash] Intercepted To Whom It May Concern: [Lengt...: I think you scared it, said Audio Dave. Truant, my Sports Illustrated swimsuit calendar fell off of the wall behind my bookcase, smashing a ceramic kitty cat into a thousand pieces. I flinched. An unnecessary coda.
[Big Cat Chronicles :: Main Page] Adobe to acquire Macromedia: Adobe still generates the bulk of its revenue from products, such as PhotoShop and Illustrator, that have become standards for creative professionals. Last year, the company bundled its most popular products into a suite, enabling it to gain market share from longtime rival Quark Inc.
[Ego Food] My New Camera: Canon SD400: You might remember me going on about picking up a Canon SD400...well, I picked it up last week from my friendly local camera store and have been running the camera through its paces. The SD400 is amazingly compact, but the output is really something. Here is a dramatically resized (in photoshop) shot of my cat, max. (clicking on it will take you to flickr's page on it.
