[Archived in Entry]

[Faris QC Blog] I don’t believe that the action of the mufti was not a good intention…But the Iraqis were doing an operation of cleaning and if the Mufti was advise of the house where Wood was why they had to fight and why they found another hostage that the fact that he is Iraqis will have be executed…Can you explain to me…It is to me the same that the comment that the Mufti has eye to eye with Wood thing that was denied after…

Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.

http://www.ninme.com [ninme] Sniffle V: Didn’t the Iraqi troops that found him just step through a big hole in a wall where they thought there would be a car bomb factory? See, they should put together a nice media package of him in all his rotund splendour calling his captors “arseholes”

http://drmaxtor.blogspot.com [Dr.M's Analysis] The Facts they hate: --In the case of Iraq, however, only 32 percent of respondents believed both that human rights abuses equivalent to genocide justified intervention and that such extreme violations were occurring under Hussein's rule. Asked, "Do you think that there are other governments existing today that have human rights records as bad as that of Iraq under Saddam Hussein?" an overwhelming 88 percent said there are.

http://www.ninme.com [ninme] Isn't Business Class a Bit Much for a Simple Cleric?: Following Mr Wood’s rescue in a raid by Iraqi and American troops in Baghdad on Wednesday, The Age has been told that Mr Wood was held for most of the time in dank and desperate conditions with a larger group of hostages. They were mostly Iraqis, but there may have been some other foreign workers.

http://hammorabi.blogspot.com [Hammorabi.blogspot.com] Hammorabi: The Mufti of Australia (Eiz Deen Hilali) who is an Egyptian announced from Egypt to Al-Jazeera TV yesterday that the (Mujahdeen) asked for 25 millions but because he will carry their logical and reasonable demands to the world they agreed to free him. He was sympathized with the terrorists calling them resisters mujahdeen.

[Roadstoiraq.com] Baghdad Dweller» Forcing Democracy in The Middle East: You can call this a preparation for the war with Iran, there were many doubts among Iraqis that Iran was really involved in the bomb when Iraqi students were peacefully demonstrating or better to say orchestrated demonstration (I really don’t remember why the demonstration was about, hope Iraqis can help me here), the bomb killed two students and the bomber killed by the police, as the official story goes, the name of the bomber was “Gullam Hussein”, the name Gullam is an Iranian name and according to Saddam’s government he was an Fayli Kurd and they are “fayli Kurds” cooperating with Iran. That was the start of forcing Fayli Kurds to emigrate.

[Mypetjawa.mu.nu] The Jawa Report: Australian Hostage Douglas Wood Rescued in Iraq: Australian commanders, who had no advance knowledge of the operation, were caught by surprise. If you are at all interested in the lies being told by the Islamofascist apologist and Grand Mufti of Australia, then you have to read this post by Tim Blair. Sheikh al-Hillali is claiming that it was he who arranged for Wood's release.
