[Esotericrabbit.blogspot.com] Esoteric Rabbit Films: In retrospect, I think I sacrificed my own directorial ambitions – and though I use the word "sacrifice" it should be noted that I certainly don't consider myself to be a creative martyr or anything – because, though I certainly thought it was unfair that the system had denied me a position, I found it equally unfair that it had denied someone like Austin one as well. It was time to be a little humble and to say, "Well, I can do something good for someone else here and I'm actually going to do it." And so I did it, and I think we're both going to benefit enormously from the experience.
[Esotericrabbit.com] Esoteric Rabbit Films: Kite Circuit will be the second student film to go into production this semester. The first is a kind of modern day sequel to the Grimm Brothers' Hansel and Gretel, and has been shooting since Monday morning.
