Lightning Storm
[Archived in Entry, Video Camera Digital]
Luis on 2003/09/03:
„Lacking my digital video camera (at school, for a project), I got out my trusty digital camera and took some shots of it (above right, and below). Unfortunately, it was hard to catch the full feeling of it--it was far too light for a good time-exposure shot. But the camera has a movie mode, so I took several 30-second movies (the time limit for higher-quality movie files).“

Some slightly related:
„My wife and I were on our way to our new home in Arizona when we saw this storm in the distance. I used our digital camcorder to record the storm and then downloaded it to the computer frame by frame when the strike occurred. This shows some interesting parts of a lightning strike that you don't see in real time.“http://www.meetmyattorney.com/slink/mt-archives/ 000449.html - Cached

„There I’ve said it and I haven’t been struck by lightning. The Nikon gods have not cursed me and I don’t think Canon really gives a rat’s ass one way or the other if I were to switch over to their system. Now if my name were Moose or Galen, you can be damn sure that they would and Canon would probably pay Moose or Galen a bucketful of money and a truckload of equipment to do the switch with a huge, splashy advertising campaign to promote the switch.“http://www.camerahobby.com/ photo-nikoncanon.html - Cached
