  „We still had a great day-- walking around DC holding hands, watching some short films with one of my new favorite people , enjoying a nice leisurely meal at one of my new favorite restaurants . We sat in on the Women in the Director's Chair session of the DC Underground Film Festival , and were so inspired by some of what saw, and just the general creative energy around us, that we had to go out, and I'm talking immediately, and buy our own digital video camera . We'd been planning on getting one someday soon, but the care freeness of the day got the best of us and we went ahead and did the deed. (Interesting observation: When we are without our child we tend to fall into some extremely frivolous spending behavior.“
