TFC - 'Next to Godliness' - Some quick publicity stills
[Archived in Entry]
[I Am Chris Nolan] We're about wrapped out this location and are about to head downtown but I thought I'd post some quick publicity stills we took of one of the accidents here. Stills are something that people often don't think about until after, and for a no-budget thing like this, you have to get them at the time otherwise you'll never be able to get them.
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[Gomaya.com] USUMACINTA: (Although the threat of species extirpations in a World Heritage Site can scarcely be considered exclusively "local.") From this side of the border, I recall the hydro plans which were floated 10 years ago for Talamanca, and think "we're next." But the big issue is the possibility of total alteration of the fluvial ecosystems of the entire isthmus, from Chiapas to Darien. (And this comes wrapped in the even larger issue of PPP/TLC - "free trade.") Whether to approach each dam, river or country separately seems to me to be a tactical issue.
[Blogs.msdn.com] Tom Hollander's blog :: If you are deploying to an environment where the instrumentation cannot be used, it's pretty easy to disable it, but you will need to recompile the code. Luckily all the instrumentation code is wrapped around conditional compilation directives, so you won't need to edit any source files directly. Just go into the Project Properties dialog for the Common project, and under Configuration Properties\Build, find the Conditional Compilation Properties property and remove ;USEWMI;USEEVENTLOG;USEPERFORMANCECOUNTER (or any combination of these that you don't want).
[Copernic.com] Copernic Desktop Search - Blog & User Posts: Well, apart from the obvious ease of use, if you’re like me and have about three hard-drive’s data on your machine from where you’ve shunted it across everytime you upgrade your PC then you probably are stuck with several different filing systems. Copernic means that you can immediately skip through all the system stuff and get right back to the file you’re looking for without having to remember where you put it or wait five minutes for the Windows search to give you a result. Yes, I know I’m going on about this, but I really do love this software and I never really realised before just how useful it would be.
