The whole desktop video editing scene

[nunonunes.org - Personal website of Nuno Nunes -] So anyway, I've been flirting with this particular media format for a while now, but never got around to doing anything tangible on the actual video front and kept myself pretty much to slide-show type stuff (for a very loose definition of slideshow that is). So following the advice of people who know their stuff (even if the advice was given for a slightly different field but hey, good practices are universal anyway) I've decided that this weekend's shows were the perfect opportunity to get myself some hands-on experience in the area by means of an assignment.
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
tips from the top floor: s assignment, send your image (only one image per listener please) to info@tipsfromthetopfloor.com, put “transportation assignment” in the subject, and Ill post the best ones here. image: transportation MP3 for todays show: MP3 link to todays show Links from todays show: Vote for this show at PodcastAlley.com! [G1powermac.rozica.com] g1powermac's blog: After reading over the bblog forums, someone had mentioned a site called Flickr where you can email your cell phones photos and they'll post it on their site. Now, if I had a popular blogging software, I could set Flickr to auto post emailed pics to my blog (although there was someone who did do this on bblog).

[Helium3.blogdns.com] helium-3 weblog » New Apple Stuff: Well speed is important for music making software, film/video editing and compositing applications so it’s not just about how fast a computer can load a word processor. The Mac has always been a creative tool but in recent years its recognition for this has been overshadowed as it has struggled to keep up with faster Windows machines.
