„This morning I brought in the external hard drive connectors I left behind yesterday, but forgot my Mouse to my PC, having left it on the computer desk up at tyhe in-laws when I unhooked it last night to be ready to bring in this morning. Really makes me hanker after a laptop, but I'm afraid that's a long way from happening at the moment, but it sure woudl be nice to have a laptop on which I could run Studio MX, SQL Server, and IIS (and even add some firewire and video editing software along with an external hard drive) so all my "travel stuff" could be completely portable. From what I've gathered just listening to home users of video editing software, Premiere has become a major player on the Windows platform, and under pressure from Final Cut's rising profile in the industry, Premiere's professional utility must be declining badly. Macs are of course the industry platform of choice, and given that most editors are either using an Avid or Final Cut, there's not much room left for Premiere.
