„The actual candidate could do his bit as usual in the ad and then the database could be used in post production as a filter to alter the image of the candidate to make him or her more electable on grounds that may have little or even zero to do with qualities that make for a good president. Given that such filtering techniques are more likely than not to appear in a sophisticated form in commercial film and video editing software in a year or two, it strikes me that some attention should paid to producing legislation which would bar political campaigns and other media uses of direct social consequence from utilizing the technology, because essentially its use constitutes fraud.“
